Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fiber Splicer role based in Shahdol. The Fiber Splicer will be responsible for splicing, testing, and maintaining optical fiber cables for telecom networks,



ensuring low-loss connections and high-quality signal transmission. Day-to-day activities include reading and interpreting network diagrams, preparing fiber cables, performing fusion and mechanical splicing, and using OTDR and other test equipment to troubleshoot and verify fiber integrity. The role involves performing field installations, repairs, and upgrades, documenting work performed, and coordinating with network engineers, supervisors, and other field technicians to complete projects safely and on schedule. The Fiber Splicer will follow all safety standards, maintain tools and equipment, and support continuous improvement of installation and maintenance practices.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with fiber splicing (fusion and mechanical), cable preparation, and fiber termination.
Proficiency using fiber testing and measurement tools such as OTDR, power meters, and light sources.
