About The Role

We are seeking an experienced HCL Commerce Developer with solid expertise in Java/J2EE to design, develop, and support enterprise eCommerce solutions. The role focuses on HCL Commerce development across catalog, search, pricing, promotions, order management, and member/user management.

Job Description

The role involves developing and enhancing commerce applications using HCL Commerce / IBM WebSphere Commerce versions 7, 8, and 9. You will work on core commerce capabilities, integrations, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and scalable application development.

The position requires hands-on experience with Java/J2EE technologies, REST APIs, databases, source control, and Agile/Scrum delivery practices. You will also contribute to integrations and modern commerce architectures where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain HCL Commerce solutions across enterprise eCommerce platforms.
Work on catalog management, search/navigation, pricing, promotions, and order management.




Develop and support member and user management functionality.
Build applications using Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and Spring Framework.
Develop and integrate REST APIs and external commerce services.
Work with SQL and database structures to support commerce applications.
Troubleshoot application issues and perform debugging and performance tuning.
Collaborate with development teams using Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
