Every day, thousands of Lenskart customers sit across from an optometrist and trust them with their vision. As Optometry & Clinical Excellence Leader, you decide what that moment looks like — for every one of them, across every store, everywhere in India.
This isn't a role that runs someone else's clinical program. It's the role that writes the playbook — the protocols, the certification ladder, the quality bar — that every optometrist in our network builds their practice on. If you've spent your career practicing excellent optometry and now want to define what excellent optometry means at national scale, this is that move.

What You'll Own
Design and own the optometry excellence framework — the clinical protocols, refraction quality standards, and patient experience benchmarks that every Lenskart touchpoint is built on.
Lead a team of regional optometry trainers and clinical coordinators, with full accountability for their coaching, development, and performance.
Run end-to-end training, certification,



and continuous career development for the optometry workforce at genuine scale.
Build and govern data-driven dashboards to track clinical KPIs and outcomes; drive audits and quality reviews across the store network.
Identify workforce skill gaps and design targeted upskilling — e-learning, blended formats, and hands-on clinical workshops.
Partner with academic institutions and professional bodies (COI, IOIA) to benchmark clinical practice — and help shape where the profession is heading.
Work with Product, Technology, and Retail Ops to embed clinical standards into store workflows and digital tools.
Represent Lenskart externally — conferences, academic tie-ups, and industry forums — as the face of its optometry practice.
