Job Description
To plan, organize and control production of “Metal Recovery Plant in Steel Industry Slag, Slag Evacuation from Furnace Pits,
Slag Transportation and Scrap processing” in a Steel Manufacturing Industry, to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.
Operations manager will lead the site operations team. A team of Team Leads, Shift In-charges, operators (Plant operators, Heavy Earthmoving Equipment operators etc) will be reporting to Operations Manager. He shall be reporting to Site Manager and will be one of the senior-most member of the team.
Roles and Responsibilities
Safety
Ensure implementation and adherence to Harsco’s health and safety procedures
Set training schedules and train the operators and shift in-charges in systems and operations.
Monitor quality standards of products
Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
Arrange to achieve production budgets
