We are looking for a Mechanical Design Intern to work on mechanical design, prototyping, and product development for OralVis's internal healthcare and medical device projects.

OralVis is a healthcare technology startup incubated at IIT Hyderabad, developing innovative solutions for oral healthcare and diagnostics. Our work combines medical devices, imaging, AI, software, and engineering to build accessible and technology-driven healthcare solutions.

Qualifications
Robust foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience in mechanical design and analysis.
Proficiency in Design Engineering and Machine Design, including component selection, tolerance analysis, and mechanisms.
Hands-on experience in Product Design for medical or consumer devices, focusing on usability, reliability, and manufacturability.




Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or similar) for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience with prototyping, testing, and design validation; familiarity with DFM/DFA principles.
Ability to work in office in Hyderabad.
Exposure to medical devices, precision mechanisms, or imaging equipment and knowledge of relevant standards is an advantage.
Candidates with prior experience or academic projects involving both mechanical design and electronics/electromechanical systems will be preferred.
