Business Development Manager – Corporate Travel Management
nRole Overview
nThe Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving recent business acquisition, expanding corporate accounts, and contributing to revenue growth within the corporate travel segment. The role requires a strong understanding of travel management solutions, client relationship building, and consultative selling to mid-to-large enterprises.
nKey Responsibilities
nBusiness Development & Sales
nIdentify, target, and acquire new corporate clients for travel management services
nDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets
nBuild a robust pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
nLead end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure
nClient Relationship Management
nEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (Procurement, HR, Admin, Finance)
nUnderstand client travel needs and propose customized solutions




nEnsure smooth onboarding of new clients in coordination with operations and account management teams
nMarket Intelligence & Strategy
n Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies
nProvide insights to leadership on market opportunities and client expectations
nContribute to product and service enhancements based on client feedback
nProposal & Contract Management
nPrepare compelling proposals, RFP responses, and commercial models
nNegotiate pricing, SLAs, and contractual terms to ensure profitability and client satisfaction
n Collaboration & Internal Alignment
nWork closely with operations, ticketing, MICE, and finance teams to deliver seamless service
nEnsure alignment between client expectations and service delivery capabilities
