Accountant for Clothing Business at Nagampadom, Kottayam.

Should be capable of:

- Prepare P&L;, balance sheets, cash flow statements ; analyze performance and trends to support business decisions.

- Oversee inventory accounting, value stock, manage adjustments, and ensure optimal levels, minimizing waste.

- Manage production/operational expenses, implement cost-saving measures, and monitor budgets.

- Monitor daily sales, discounts, returns, payments, and reconcile transactions for retail and e-commerce.

- Handle tax filings (VAT, GST etc.), ensure regulatory adherence, and assist with annual audits.

- Advise on pricing, forecasting, profitability, cash flow, and market trends.

- Process invoices, manage expenses, and reconcile accounts.

- Handle payroll journals and related accounting.

Ideal Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting or finance.

- Proficiency in accounting software & MS Excel.

- Understanding of apparel industry specifics (manufacturing, retail, e-commerce).

- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem - solving skills.

- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and communicate effectively.
