Role Overview

YS School is seeking a dedicated Academic Coordinator for Senior Classes, for Grades 6 to 12th, responsible for leading the academic, administrative, and student-support functions of these critical board classes. The coordinator will ensure solid academic delivery, structured planning, teacher accountability, and consistent student progress tracking aligned with school expectations and CBSE norms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Leadership (Core)




- Plan and oversee the academic calendar, syllabus completion, and lesson planning
- Conduct regular notebook checks, class observations, and academic audits.
- Ensure teachers follow structured pedagogy, CBSE guidelines, and assessment patterns.
- Drive exam readiness — periodic tests, revisions, doubt sessions, sample paper practice.

2. Student Progress & Performance Tracking
- Monitor academic performance of all students through data-driven tracking.
- Identify slow learners and coordinate remedial programs.
- Conduct student counselling sessions on study habits, discipline, attendance, and exam strategy.
- Maintain consistent communication with parents regarding academic progress, behaviour, and support plans.

3. Teacher Coordination & Support
- Ensure timely submission of lesson plans, question papers, checking, and academic documentation.
