Position Title - AM Contracts

Department - Contracts

Reporting To - DGM - Contracts

Job Purpose

To manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle including tendering, vendor evaluation, contractor finalization, work order management, contract administration, vendor development, dispute resolution, MIS reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Contract Phase:
Contract Drafting and Review:
- Collaborate with technical teams to prepare comprehensive contract documents.
- Review and interpret contracts document such as drawings, specifications, conditions of contract, and statutory regulations for accuracy and completeness.

Negotiation Support:
- Assist in negotiations with OEM / vendors / contractors to finalize contract terms and conditions.
- Ensure that the agreed terms are clearly documented in the contract.

Tendering Process: Assists in the tendering process

2. Post Contract Phase
- Act as the primary interface between various project stakeholders,



including design engineering team, material management team, client representatives, and contractor / OEM / vendor, for the assigned package to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Manage change orders and variations to the contract, ensuring proper documentation and approvals etc.
- Obtain quotations for additional/ Variation items as may be required
- Coordinate with the legal team and develop legal notices and claims.
- Tracking, updating and follow up on contractual instruments like Bank Guarantee, Bonds, and Insurance etc.
- Issue proper delay notifications promptly to the contractors through contractual letter and suitable contracts correspondence
- Project Delay Analysis and subsequent proceedings as per Contract Agreement,
- Counter the extra claims raised by contractor with detailed cost estimates & proper justification / analysis and negotiate / minimize the extra claim with the
