About the Role
We are hiring an experienced and responsible Event Supervisor to oversee on-ground event operations in Kolkata, West Bengal. You will be responsible for supervising event teams, ensuring smooth execution, managing vendors, and handling real-time issues during events.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site event execution and ensure smooth operations
- Manage and guide event staff, coordinators, and executives
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venue teams
- Ensure proper setup, branding, and event logistics execution
- Monitor event timelines and ensure adherence to schedules
- Handle on-ground issues and provide quick solutions
- Maintain quality control across all event activities
- Communicate with Event Manager and reporting teams
- Ensure compliance with safety and event standards
- Oversee dismantling and post-event closure activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing,
or related field
- 3-6 years of experience in event supervision or similar role:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to handle pressure and make quick decisions
- Strong knowledge of event operations and logistics
- Experience in managing on-ground teams and vendors
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate events, exhibitions, weddings, or large-scale events
- Strong vendor and team handling experience
- Familiarity with event safety and compliance protocols
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
