The Impact You'll Make:
As our Senior Engineer Product Compliance ,you’ll play a key role in enabling sustainable product development by ensuring compliance with global environmental regulations and industry standards across our hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, controllers, and fluid conveyance product portfolio.
You will help ensure our products meet evolving global regulatory requirements while supporting sustainability goals, reducing compliance risks, and strengthening customer trust. Through your expertise in environmental compliance, material assessment, lifecycle analysis, and data-driven decision-making, you will contribute to responsible product development and support Danfoss' commitment to sustainability and innovation.
You’ll collaborate with Product Engineering, Sustainability, Quality,
Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product Compliance, and external stakeholders while taking ownership of compliance assessments, regulatory monitoring, lifecycle analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping us move toward a more sustainable and compliant future.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead product environmental compliance activities by reviewing global regulations, assessing product structures, and delivering compliance declarations for product portfolios and product families.
- Support stakeholders by interpreting regulatory requirements such as REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Conflict Minerals, WEEE, and Machinery Directives, and translating them into actionable implementation plans.
- Collaborate with engineering, sustainability, quality, and supply chain teams to evaluate material compositions, manufacturing processes, coatings, and product compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle
