Role Purpose

The Design & Estimation Executive is responsible for preparing technical system designs and accurate project cost estimates for solar EPC projects. The role supports sales, procurement, and execution teams by delivering optimized designs, BOQs, and techno-commercial cost evaluations for residential, commercial, and industrial installations.

Key Responsibilities
Solar System Design
- Prepare solar PV system layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent tools.
- Design rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems.
- Perform system sizing based on load analysis and site conditions.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical layouts.
- Design inverter configuration, cable sizing, and equipment placement.

Project Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for projects.
- Estimate material quantity requirements based on design.
- Prepare project cost sheets including:
- Modules, inverters, structures
- Electrical BOS
- Civil work
- Installation labour
- Transportation & logistics
- Coordinate with procurement team for latest material pricing.




- Prepare cost comparison and optimization suggestions.

Proposal & Sales Support
- Provide technical inputs for quotations and proposals.
- Support sales team during client discussions (technical clarification).
- Assist in techno-commercial evaluation of projects.
- Provide generation estimates and performance data.

Site Coordination
- Review site survey data and measurements.
- Validate design feasibility based on site conditions.
- Revise designs as per client requirements and technical constraints.

Documentation & Project Support
- Maintain design drawings, estimation sheets, and project records.
- Prepare submission drawings for approvals if required.
- Support execution team with design clarifications.
- Prepare as-built drawings post installation.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
