Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement policy-as-code solutions using the Open Policy Agent (OPA) framework:
- Build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Configure and manage containerized workloads using ECS and EKS:
- Implement governance, compliance, and security controls across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and maintain GitHub Actions-based CI/CD workflows for automated deployments and testing
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and engineering teams to enforce cloud standards and operational best practices
- Optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in AWS environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, deployment, and policy-related issues
- Maintain technical documentation for cloud architecture, deployment pipelines, and governance frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps / Platform Engineering:
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Open Policy Agent (OPA)



Framework:
- Policy-as-Code and governance automation
- Solid experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, specifically:
- AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service):
- AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service):
- AWS Lambda (Python-based development):
- AWS Agent Core
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies:
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions:
- Proficiency in Python scripting/development for automation and Lambda functions
- Strong understanding of:
- Cloud security and compliance
- IAM roles and access controls
- Infrastructure automation and monitoring
- Experience with Git-based version control workflows:
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster management:
