Required Qualifications:
- 5-15 years of hands-on experience in software development with strong focus on Apache Kafka
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong understanding of event-driven and microservices architectures
- Experience with Kafka cluster configuration, management, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of schema management using Schema Registry with Avro, Protobuf, or JSON
- Experience with Kafka security implementations including ACLs, SSL, SASL, and RBAC
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and support event-driven architectures and microservices using Apache Kafka as the messaging backbone
- Configure and manage Kafka topics, partitions, replication factors, and consumer groups for optimal performance
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning of Kafka clusters in production environments
- Implement and maintain schema management solutions using Schema Registry with support for Avro, Protobuf,



and JSON formats
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on Kafka deployment, upgrades, scaling, and disaster recovery planning
- Implement security best practices including ACLs, SSL/TLS encryption, SASL authentication, and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Create technical documentation, best practices guides, and provide knowledge transfer to team members
