About the Role

At SoftelliGenZ, we’re reimagining how workforce scheduling works in the healthcare sector. We are building an AI-powered scheduling engine that moves beyond simple rule-based tools to an intelligent decision engine.

We are looking for a Python Developer / AI Engineer who is passionate about solving complex, real-world problems. You will be responsible for building a core engine that optimizes staff allocation, predicts staffing shortages, and matches caregivers to patients using advanced algorithms.

Key Responsibilities
- Engine Development: Build and maintain a Python-based AI scheduling engine.
- Optimization: Design and implement optimization models for real-world constraints (Staffing, location, skills, etc.).
- API Integration: Develop scalable APIs to integrate the Python engine with our Laravel-based platform.
- System Design: Create intelligent matching and predictive systems to improve care delivery.
- Problem Solving: Solve high-impact problems related to healthcare workforce management.





Technical Requirements (Ideal Experience)
- Core Skills: Strong proficiency in Python.
- Frameworks: Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Flask is preferred.
- Optimization Tools: Experience with Google OR-Tools, heuristics, or constraint-based optimization is a huge plus.
- AI/ML: Exposure to Machine Learning models and predictive insights (Nice to have, not mandatory).
- API Development: Comfortable building and scaling RESTful APIs.
- Background: Experience in workforce management, logistics, or healthcare systems is a bonus.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
