Job Summary

A Cambridge Homeroom Teacher is responsible for managing the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students in a classroom following the Cambridge curriculum framework. The teacher creates a safe, engaging, and learner-centered setting while delivering high-quality instruction and supporting student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities1. Classroom Teaching
- Deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and school standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials.
- Use interactive and differentiated teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Integrate technology and activity-based learning into classroom instruction.

2. Homeroom Management
- Take daily attendance and maintain student records.
- Monitor student behavior, discipline, and overall wellbeing.




- Build positive relationships with students and create an inclusive classroom culture.
- Guide students in developing responsibility, communication, and social skills.

3. Student Assessment
- Conduct formative and summative assessments.
- Evaluate student progress and maintain academic records.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare report cards and progress reports.

4. Parent Communication
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Address parent concerns professionally and promptly.

5. Curriculum & Planning
- Participate in curriculum planning and academic meetings.
- Support school improvement initiatives and Cambridge standards.

6. Co-Curricular Activities
- Organize and participate in assemblies, competitions, field trips, and school events.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities.
