Key skills/JD:
- 1. Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Assist in sourcing, vendor identification, and onboarding
- Raising of PR and further converting the same to PO.
- Regular market research for an alternate source of supply with economical prices.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Maintaining records for all unserviceable spares with sub-vendors and processing PR based on BQ from the vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery timelines).
- Maintain vendor database and documentation.
- 2. Inventory Management:
- Track inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability
- Assist in demand forecasting and replenishment planning
- Maintaining sufficient spares as per scale (incl Consumables, tools & testers) keeping in view the lead time.
- Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory
- Monitoring and ensuring timely reverse logistics for all the unserviceable stocks.
- Coordinate stock audits and reconciliation
- 3. Logistics & Distribution:
- Coordinate with logistics partners for dispatch and delivery
- Ensure proper packaging for all the outbound shipments to avoid transit damage.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve logistics issues and delays
- Optimize freight costs and transportation efficiency.
- Liase with other Freight Forwarders who can give more effective services for the despatches/ pick ups.s
