Role Description
This is a full time on-site role for a Desktop Support Engineer at Binated in Pune. The System Support Executive will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting desktop computers, printers, and computer hardware on a day-to-day basis.
Job Title: System Support Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux/Mac)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
- Monitor system performance and ensure system availability
- Assist in system upgrades, patches,
and security updates
- Maintain IT documentation, logs, and asset records
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and support
- Ensure data backup and recovery processes are functioning properly
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve user queries efficiently
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of IT security practices
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (preferred)
- Diploma or certification in hardware/networking (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA, etc.) is a plus
- 0-3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
