Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Senior Operations Manager with strong exposure to Import & Export Operations, Freight Forwarding, and Shipping Line Coordination, preferably from the Rice / Agro Commodity industry.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & EXIM Management
- Handle complete Export & Import Operations for rice and agro commodity shipments.
- Manage end-to-end shipment execution including booking, stuffing, documentation, dispatch, and delivery.
- Ensure smooth coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHAs, transporters, warehouses, and survey agencies.
- Monitor shipment schedules, vessel planning, transit timelines, and operational efficiency.
- Handle both FCL and LCL shipments efficiently with minimum operational delays.




- Ensure timely filing and processing through ICEGATE and other export compliance portals.
- Manage and supervise documentation related to Shipping Bills, BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, Fumigation, etc.
- Ensure proper execution and tracking of RoDTEP benefits and export incentives.
- Coordinate with NVOCCs and shipping lines for best freight solutions and space availability.
- Resolve operational issues related to customs clearance, shipment delays, detention, and port coordination.

Team Management & Leadership
- Lead and manage the Operations team across export-import activities.
- Allocate operational responsibilities and monitor daily execution.
- Develop SOPs and operational controls to improve process efficiency.
- Conduct regular reviews with the team to ensure shipment timelines and service standards are maintained.
- Train and mentor junior operational staff on EXIM processes and compliance.
