Key Responsibilities:
- Content Auditing and Analysis: Regularly audit the website's existing content to identify articles in need of a refresh
- based on performance metrics (traffic, engagement, ranking), topical relevance, and accuracy.

Content Editing and Updating:
- Thoroughly fact-check and update all data, statistics, and information to reflect the current market landscape.
- Rewrite and re-structure articles to improve clarity, flow, and logical progression.
- Enhance articles with new, relevant information, examples, and expert insights.
- Identify and correct any grammatical errors, typos, and formatting inconsistencies.

SEO Optimization:
- Conduct keyword research to identify recent and relevant keywords to incorporate into updated articles.
- Optimize on page elements, including headlines, subheadings,meta descriptions, and image alt text,



for improved search engine ranking.
- Identify and build internal links to and from the refreshed content.
- Ensure content aligns with the latest SEO best practices and algorithm updates.

Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor the performance of refreshed articles using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track improvements in traffic and rankings.

- Uphold the highest standards of journalistic integrity, accuracy, and objectivity.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, English, or a related field.
- 2 to3 years’ experience in a content editing, copyediting, or journalism role, preferably in a business, finance, or news-focused environment.
- Demonstrable experience with SEO best practices and a strongunderstanding of how to optimize content for search engines.
