A PRT Sanskrit teacher is responsible for teaching basic Sanskrit language skills to primary school students (usually Grade 3 to Grade 5, depending on the school). The role focuses on introducing students to simple vocabulary, pronunciation, basic grammar, and an interest in the language through engaging and activity-based methods.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach basic Sanskrit language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding

Introduce simple vocabulary, shlokas, and basic sentence formation

Teach elementary grammar concepts in an easy and child-friendly manner

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials

Use creative teaching methods such as storytelling, recitation, games, and activities

Conduct regular class tests, assignments, and assessments

Monitor and evaluate students’ progress

Encourage correct pronunciation and memorization of shlokas

Maintain discipline and a positive classroom workplace

Participate in school activities, assemblies,



and cultural programs

Communicate with parents regarding students’ progress

Eligibility Criteria:
D.El.Ed or B.Ed is required

CTET/TET qualification (as per school or government norms)

Required Skills:
Good command of basic Sanskrit language

Clear pronunciation and recitation skills

Valuable communication and teaching skills

Patience and ability to handle young children

Creativity in making lessons compelling and interactive

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
