Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detailed oriented Purchasing Intern to support our supply chain operations. The intern will assist the team in managing day-to-day purchasing activities, coordinating with vendors and ensuring smooth communication between internal departments such as Production, Warehouse and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and managing Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with vendors for follow-ups, order confirmations, and delivery timelines.
- Strong communication and coordination with Production, Warehouse and Logistics teams.
- Help maintain and update purchasing records and documentation.




- Track order status and ensure timely updates to the team.
- Assist in monitoring inventory requirements and coordination with cross functional teams.
- Support in basic price negotiations and vendor discussions under supervision.
- Conduct basic market and brand trend research to support procurement decisions.
- Assist the team in Research & Development (R&D;) and New Product Development (NPD) activities including sourcing materials, exploring new vendors, and supporting product-related procurement requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of brands and market trends.
- Knowledge of Purchase Order creation and procurement processes.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills for vendor management.
- Basic understanding of supply chain operations.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented approach to work.
