We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer cum DTP Operator to design and format school textbooks and educational content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design layouts for textbooks, covers, and marketing materials
- Perform DTP (Desktop Publishing) work for books and academic content
- Format manuscripts into print-ready files
- Work on page layout, typography, illustrations, and infographics
- Coordinate with editors and authors for content placement
- Ensure consistency in design, fonts, and styles across books
- Prepare files for printing as per specifications
- Make corrections based on feedback and proofing
Requirements:
- Graduate in Graphic Design or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in designing and DTP (preferably in publishing)
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Corel Draw, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and print processes
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of image editing and illustration
- Familiarity with printing standards and pre-press processes
