Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Guest Service & Experience: Greeting guests, managing reservations, taking orders, and ensuring high-quality service throughout the meal.
- Supervision & Training: Leading service staff, organizing staff rosters, and training new team members on service standards and menu items.
- Operational Control: Monitoring food and beverage quality, checking table settings for cleanliness (linen, cutlery, crockery), and maintaining health and safety protocols.
- Complaint Handling: Resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Sales & Feedback: Actively promoting menu items, upselling, and collecting guest feedback to report to managers for improvement.
- Billing & Closure:
Handling payment processes and conducting final checks for service quality before guests leave.
- Inventory Coordination: Monitoring inventory levels of service items and assisting in inventory management.
Required Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate service teams, often with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for guest interaction.
- Calmness: Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced workplace.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
