Job Summary

Excel Pathway School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Mathematics Teacher to teach Grades 9 and 11 in the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will inspire students to understand and appreciate mathematics and prepare them for CBSE board examinations.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons covering algebra, geometry, trigonometry and other topics aligned with the CBSE syllabus for grades 9 & 11.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to meet learning objectives and prepare students for board exams.
- Evaluate and document students’ progress through assignments, tests and projects; provide constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain an organised, positive and disciplined classroom workplace that encourages inquiry and problem‑solving.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑curricular activities and participate in school events and staff meetings.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and areas for improvement.




- Provide remedial or enrichment sessions for students who require additional support or challenges.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- B.Ed qualification and experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level; CBSE experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Effective classroom management and ability to motivate students.
