Key Responsibilities:
- Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations and procedures
Prepare patients for eye surgeries (cataract, glaucoma, LASIK, etc.)
Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
Administer prescribed eye drops and medications
Monitor patient vital signs before and after procedures
Maintain sterilization and cleanliness of OT (Operation Theatre)
Educate patients about eye care and post-surgery instructions
Maintain patient records and documentation
Handle ophthalmic equipment carefully
Follow hospital safety and infection control protocolsQualification:
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing
Registered under Gujarat Nursing Councel (mandatory)
Experience in ophthalmology (preferred but not mandatory)Full Time
