Key Result Areas & Responsibilities
- Teach English as per CBSE curriculum guidelines (Classes I-XII as applicable).
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and analytical skills.
- Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Conduct assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain academic records.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations (for Classes X & XII).
- Provide remedial and enrichment support based on student performance.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom workplace.
- Integrate digital tools, smart boards, and innovative teaching strategies.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills.
- Communicate student progress during PTMs and academic meetings.
- Participate in school events, examinations, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and academic improvement.

For PRT (Classes I-V):
- Graduate in any discipline with B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. (mandatory)




- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in CBSE/primary schools

For TGT (Classes VI-X):
- Graduate/Postgraduate in English with B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Minimum 2-4 years of teaching experience in CBSE school

For PGT (Classes XI-XII):
- M.A. in English with B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience as PGT English in CBSE school

Skillset
- Strong command over English language and literature.
