JOB DESCRIPTION - TIG / MIG WELDER

(Boiler / Heavy Engineering Industry)

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ARC / TIG / MIG welding as per WPS and fabrication drawings.
- Ensure quality welding with mínimal defects and rework.
- Carry out welding preparation and joint fit-up with fitters and grinders.
- Follow all safety, PPE, and housekeeping standards.
- Support NDE testing requirements and repair welding if required.
- Handle boiler pressure parts and heavy structural components.

Skills & Competencies:
- Awareness of welding parameters, distortion control, and defect prevention.




- Familiar with NDE processes - UT, PT, MPT, RT (preferred).
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as per safety norms.

Education & Experience:
- ITI - Welder (preferred)
- Non-ITI with 2+ years of relevant experience can be considered
- Experience Required:2-6 years in Boiler / Heavy Engineering / Oil & Gas

Pay: ₹18,626.64 - ₹40,805.54 per month
