We are looking for a Textile Lab in Chargeto join our team at Shreeji Garments.

At Shreeji, we are 90% knit based and are looking for an excellent addition to our product development team We want a core team member to act as a liaison between our designers, buyers and tech heads to deliver the right fabric at the right time

Job Title:Textile Lab in Charge

Qualification:Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Textile Chemistry, Textile Technology, or a related field.

Experience:1 - 5+ years of experience in a garment or têxtile laboratory, preferably worked in SGS or Intertek.

Technical Skills:Robust understanding of fabric structure, dyeing processes (cotton, polyester blends), and laboratory machinery.

Soft Skills:Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Salary:As per market terms. Negotiable based on experience.

Location:Regent Garments and Apparel Park, Block - 6, 1st Floor, Barasat, West Bengal, Pin - 700125.

Job responsibilities for Textile Lab in Charge:
- Testing & Quality Control:



Perform or supervise physical (fabric strength, abrasion, pilling, GSM) and chemical tests (colourfastness to washing, rubbing, perspiration) on fabrics and trims.
- Approval & Technical Support: Develop and approve lab dips (dyeing recipes) and fabric finishing processes for client approval.
- Equipment Management: Ensure all lab instruments are calibrated, maintained, and operated according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, generate test reports, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and buyer-specific standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise lab staff, providing training on testing procedures and safety protocols.
- Quality Assurance Coordination: Work closely with the sampling, production, and quality departments to ensure timely, high-quality production.
