Job Title: Junior Production Supervisor / Engineer

Reporting To: Production Manager

Job Summary

The Junior Production Supervisor / Engineer will assist in planning, monitoring, and controlling production activities to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and efficient use of manpower and materials. The role involves coordinating between design, stores, quality, and site teams to support smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities (KRA):Production & Operations
- Assist in daily production planning and execution as per drawings and schedules
- Monitor production progress and report daily output to seniors
- Ensure adherence to production timelines and targets
- Support implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Manpower & Shop Floor Supervision
- Supervise technicians, carpenters, helpers, and machine operators
- Allocate work as per production plan and skill levels
- Ensure discipline, safety, and productivity on the shop floor

Quality Control
- Check raw materials, work-in-progress,



and finished goods quality
- Ensure production meets approved drawings, specifications, and standards
- Coordinate with QC team to rectify defects and rework issues

Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Store, and Site teams
- Maintain production reports, material usage records, and job cards
- Assist in resolving production or technical issues

Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safety norms and housekeeping standards are followed
- Support implementation of 5S and basic safety practices

Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of production processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and BOQs
- Knowledge of materials used in interiors / furniture / fabrication
- Positive coordination and communication skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, production reports)
