Position Title: Accounts Executive - Claims & Expenses
Department: Accounts / Finance
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant

Role Objective

To support the accounts team by processing expense and vendor claims, checking quotations with invoices, and accurately passing accounting entries in Tally under supervision, while following company policies and basic statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Claims Processing (Support Role)
- Collect employee and vendor expense claims along with supporting documents.
- Check bills, invoices, and approvals as per company policy.
- Prepare claim workings and submit for senior review and approval.
- Maintain proper filing (physical and digital) of claim documents.

Quotation & Invoice Checking
- Match quotations with vendor invoices for:
- Rates and quantities
- Basic value and total amount
- GST rates and calculations
- Inform seniors about any mismatch or missing documents.
- Ensure invoices are properly formatted and complete.

Accounting & Tally Entries




- Pass basic expense and claim entries in Tally after approval.
- Post entries under correct expense ledgers as guided.
- Assist in booking provisions for expenses at month-end.
- Help in maintaining vendor and expense ledgers.

Coordination & Reporting
- Follow up with internal teams and vendors for missing bills or clarifications.
- Prepare straightforward trackers for:
- Pending claims
- Processed claims
- Quotation vs invoice status

Skills & Knowledge Required
- Basic knowledge of Tally:
- Basic understanding of accounting entries
- Introductory knowledge of GST:
- MS Excel (basic formulas, data entry)
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Educational Qualification
- B.Com (preferred) / M.Com (fresher)
