Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Drama Teacher strictly based out of Chennai. The Drama Teacher will be responsible for teaching acting and drama, developing curriculum, and guiding students in various aspects of performing arts. The day-to-day tasks will include delivering lessons, conducting rehearsals, organizing performances,
creating curriculums for various institutions and attending meeting with school board members or Principals to showcase theatre curriculums, handle organisation and running of evening theatre centres. The Senior Drama Teacher will also train and collaborate with other faculty members to create a supportive and creative learning environment.
Qualifications
- Experience and proficiency in Drama and Performing Arts
- Skills in Teaching Acting and Teaching in general
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of various age groups
- Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, Drama, or a related field
- Prior experience in teaching and mentoring students is a plus
- Passion for the performing arts and commitment to students' growth and development
- Has to be based out of Chennai
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
