Job Description - Purchase and Production Executive

Position: Purchase and Production Executive
Experience: 3-5 Years

Salary: Up to 25k Per Month

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Responsibilities
- Procure raw materials such as fabric, yarn, packing materials, etc. for bed sheet manufacturing.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely material delivery.
- Maintain purchase records, GRNs, bills, and inventory coordination.
- Coordinate with stores and production team to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Monitor market trends to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Outsource / Job Work Production Responsibilities
- Coordinate with job work units for cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing.
- Plan and track outsourced production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
- Ensure quality control as per company standards at job work locations.




- Resolve production issues related to delay, rejection, or quality variance.
- Maintain records of job work challans, inward & outward material movement.
- Follow up with vendors for timely completion and dispatch of finished goods.
- Coordinate with internal teams for inspection and approvals.

Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of têxtile / bed sheet manufacturing process.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Positive understanding of outsourced production coordination.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP (if any).
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma in Textile, Supply Chain, or any relevant field.
- Experience in home têxtile / bed sheet industry / Garment preferred.
