Position: Automation Tester

About the Role:
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the quality of software releases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
- Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying and reporting issues.
- Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks.
- Document test cases, results, and defects using industry-standard tools.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in automation testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Solid understanding of QA processes,
methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Knowledge of cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
