Role Overview
We're hiring an Accountant to own the books of our India and Dubai entities end-to-end in Zoho Books. You'll handle day-to-day bookkeeping, monthly close, and financial statement preparation, along with GST and TDS compliance on the India side and VAT compliance for our Dubai entity. You'll also manage invoicing and payment reconciliation for our international clients, across multiple currencies and payment channels.
Roles & Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting in Zoho Books for our group companies.
Close the books every month on a fixed date.
Prepare the monthly financial statements: profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
Handle GST and TDS compliance on the India side.
Handle VAT compliance for our Dubai entity.
Raise and send invoices to our international clients, and follow up on emails until they are paid.
Reconcile the payments that come in through Stripe, PayPal, Payoneer,



Wise, Razorpay and Upwork.
Manage the multi-currency accounts.
Required Skills

A formal accounting education/degree required.
Solid hands-on experience with Zoho Books. This is the first thing we look at, so please tell us about it. Tally or QuickBooks alongside it is a plus.
A good understanding of accounting in both India and the UAE. You should be comfortable on both sides, not just one.
Practical experience with GST and TDS in India, and with VAT in the UAE.
Some exposure to transfer pricing or cross-border transaction accounting, given our overseas client billing and multi-entity structure.
Experience preparing financial statements, and the confidence to spot when something does not look right.
Experience billing overseas clients and following up on payments.
Explicit written English, since you will be emailing clients directly.
