Job Responsibilities

We are searching for a Technical Program Manager to help oversee complex research and development (R&D;) projects, prototype development and transition to production. In this position, you will manage hardware, software and firmware development teams and encourage an efficient workflow. This may involve adjusting work schedules or implementing process improvement tactics.



You should be familiar with the Agile project management method and the associated tools, such as JIRA. Our ideal Technical Program Manager has a strong technical background with a bachelor’s degree in science, math, or engineering, several years of research and development or early prototyping experience, and some experience as a team lead or manager. You should also be comfortable using program management software and methods.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform project planning. Work with the project technical lead to establish technical direction.
Supervise program teams and delegate tasks. Assess the productivity of your team and adjust schedules and timelines as necessary.
Monitor project progress. Evaluate and present project cost, schedule and performance. Produce reports on progress.
Resolve problems, whether they be technical, schedule, cost or process related.
Ensure stakeholder satisfaction – team, customer, company leadership.
