Role Description
This is a full time, on-site Solar PV Design Engineer role based in Mysore. A Solar PV Design Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing,



and supporting the execution of Commercial & Industrial (C& I) solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The role involves developing detailed engineering designs, performing energy and shading analysis, preparing electrical and structural documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. The engineer will work closely with project managers, installers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop detailed electrical and structural layouts for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including:
· AC & DC Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
· Panel layouts
· String configurations
· AC/DC cable sizing
· Earthing and protection calculations
· Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Perform energy yield simulations and system optimization using Helioscope/PVsyst/Aurora Solar/ Open
