Role Description The Consultant Gastroenterology role is a full-time, in office position based at Accord Superspeciality Hospital in Faridabad. The consultant will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients with gastrointestinal, hepatic,



and pancreatic conditions, including outpatient consultations, inpatient care, endoscopic procedures, and emergency management. Daily responsibilities include assessing patients, ordering and interpreting investigations, planning treatment, performing procedures such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for complex cases. The role involves supervising junior medical staff, participating in clinical case discussions, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and clinical governance standards. The consultant is also expected to contribute to quality improvement initiatives, patient education, and, where applicable, teaching and training activities within the department.
