When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work You ensure the efficient and protected operation of all plant and equipment and assist in supervising repairs, maintenance, and new installations, ensuring safe operations in the hotel. As an Assistant Manager - Engineering, and contents – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
Service Standards: Maintain high service quality and align team with operational goals
Task Management: Assign duties per the Chief / Assistant Chief Engineer’s direction; ensure smooth handovers
System Monitoring: Inspect machine rooms and equipment; report issues promptly
Energy Advisory: Recommend procedures to improve energy efficiency
Administration: Handle attendance, performance records, and maintenance documentation
Materials & Tools: Manage inventory, tool usage,



and material storage
Contractor Coordination: Schedule and oversee contractor activities per maintenance plans
Safety Oversight: Enforce safe equipment operation across departments
Staff Development: Train team members and conduct performance reviews
Emergency Response: Implement energy plans and coordinate emergency procedures
