Job description:
Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, journal entries, and finalization of accounts.

Manage accounts payable & receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.

Conduct cost accounting and financial forecasting to improve business profitability.

Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for operations.

Implement internal financial controls and risk management policies.

2. Taxation & Compliance

Ensure GST & TDS computation, challan preparation, and timely return filing.

Handle income tax, corporate tax, and other statutory tax requirements.

Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies for tax audits and assessments.

Maintain proper tax records and documentation to avoid penalties and non-compliance issues.

3. Payroll

Generate PF-ESI challan/ TDS calculation

4. Bank & Financial Reconciliation





Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.

Monitor fund transfers, loan repayments, and interest calculations.

Ensure accuracy in bank transactions and account balances.

5. Audit & Financial Compliance

Prepare and manage audit reports, working closely with internal and statutory auditors.

Ensure compliance with company law, income tax, GST, and financial regulations.

Develop and maintain MIS reports for top management review.

6. Team & Departmental Management

Oversee and mentor junior accountants in daily operations.

Implement financial software and automation tools for efficiency.

Ensure timely submission of reports and adherence to accounting policies.

Requirements:
8+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management.

Solid knowledge of Tally, ERP software, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
