Key Responsibilities- Pre-op:Check patient health history and plan the best type of anesthesia.
- Intra-op:Administer drugs, monitor vitals, and keep the patient protected during surgery.
- Post-op:Manage pain relief and watch recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit or ICU.
- Emergencies:Help lead trauma responses and cardiac arrest management.
Qualifications and Skills- Degree:MBBS plus MD, DNB, or a Diploma in Anaesthesia (DA).
- Registration:Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council.
- Certifications:Often requires active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
- Core Skills:Patient evaluation, airway management, and emergency resuscitation
