Job Summary:The Underground Coal Mine Surveyor is responsible for conducting accurate underground and surface surveys, preparing mine plans, monitoring excavation progress, and providing survey data to support mine planning and operations. The surveyor ensures that all work complies with applicable mining laws, safety standards, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- DGMS Mining Surveyor Certification.
- Conduct underground and surface surveys using total stations/Auto level/digital levels/ laser scanning equipment, and other surveying instruments.
- Establish, maintain, and verify survey control networks throughout the mine.
- Set out development headings, longwall panels, ventilation structures, conveyor routes, and other underground infrastructure.
- Survey and map underground workings, ensuring all plans accurately reflect current mine conditions.

Required Qualifications:




- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
- DGMS Certification in Surveying will be preferred.

Experience Required:
- Fresher and Minimum 2 years of experience construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in roads, railways, bridges, buildings, or irrigation projects will be preferred.

Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of surveying practices.
- Proficiency in handling Total Station and Auto Level instruments.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/LEVEL and MS Excel.
- Understanding of construction drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of coordinate systems and levelling procedures.

Soft Skills:
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under site conditions and deadlines.
