Job Purpose and Impact:
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer who combines deep Salesforce platform expertise with an architecture-first mindset to design and deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
- You will partner with business and engineering teams to build intelligent, secure, scalable, and future-ready solutions that accelerate Cargill's digital transformation.

Key Accountabilities:
- Design scalable enterprise Salesforce solutions using modern architecture principles.
- Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
- Develop reusable frameworks, shared components, and engineering best practices.
- Build AI-powered capabilities using Data Cloud, Agentforce, Einstein AI, Prompt Builder, and Model Builder
- Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems and external AI platforms using APIs and event-driven architecture.
- Evaluate emerging Salesforce and AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical coaching.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, scalability,



and governance standards.
- Drive platform modernization and technical debt reduction.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Salesforce engineering and software development experience.
- Expert proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong enterprise architecture and solution design experience.
- Experience with REST APIs, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governor limits, sharing model, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile delivery.
- AI-Specific Requirements
- Hands-on experience or robust knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, Einstein AI, Prompt Builder, and Model Builder.
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or AWS Bedrock with Salesforce.
