Job Overview:
The Associate Piping Engineer utilizes existing Piping procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team, and they will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to Piping and Engineering.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic engineering tasks




- Prepare explicit and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures
- Organize own work to meet deadlines set by others
- Clearly communicate information, asking questions, and checking for understanding
- Gain an understanding of the project scope of work, specifications, schedule, and all inter-discipline requirements
- Prepare/Review MTOs for requisitions
- Review vendor data with guidance from colleagues
- Develop awareness of costs related to own work
- Become familiar with P&IDs;, Line List, Equipment Layouts, Plot Plans, Piping Specifications, and Design Basis
- Assist with the preparation of the Special Piping Items and required datasheets
- Assist with the preparation of the Piping Material and Valve specification
- Become familiar with fundamentals and Code requirements for Pipe Stress Calculations
- Become familiar with pipe Stress Analysis softw
