Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- 1. Concept preparations and evaluation based on weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.
- 2. Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems.
- 3. Vehicle calculation knowledge like, Wheel base calc, CG calc, Vehicle performance calc.
- 4. Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.
- 5. Support in Validation concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
- 6. Support in Service concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
- 7. Support in Plant concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
- 8. Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.
- 9. Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases
- 10. Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.

General Requirements
- Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application
- 2. EBOM/ MBOM/ SAP BOM/ ADD DELETE expert
- 3. Change scope definition preparation, Concept BOM generation
- 4. Knowledge of Frame design and Key design principles of other aggregates
- 5. Knowledge on manufacturing processes, plant assembly layouts
- 6. Knowledge of SAM process
- 7. DMU (Digital Mock Up), 3D modelling, Assembly, Drafting (vehicle layouts)
- 8. Hands on Experience on Catia, Team center PLM & Teamcenter Visualization
- 9. Exposure to existing and future Homologation requirements of Commercial/ SUV Vehicles CAE, Testing & Validation
- 10. Hand on experience on coordination with overall product development team including all aggregates, attributes, design, and verification/validation
