We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Optometrist to join our growing retail team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, recommend suitable vision correction solutions, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while working closely with the store team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Perform refraction and prescribe corrective lenses.
- Recommend appropriate spectacles, contact lenses, and vision care solutions based on customer needs.
- Educate customers on eye health, lens options, and proper eyewear care.
- Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their prescription and lifestyle.
- Maintain accurate patient records and examination reports.
- Ensure optometry equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Collaborate with the retail sales team to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Adhere to company policies, SOPs, and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Optometry.
- Valid registration with the relevant Optometry Council (if applicable).
- Strong clinical knowledge and refraction skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-centric attitude with a passion for delivering quality eye care.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in retail optometry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of spectacle lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
- Ability to build customer trust and provide personalized recommendations.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
