We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Dentist to join our team as a Patient Diagnosis Officer (PDO). The role involves conducting comprehensive dental examinations, diagnosing oral health conditions, preparing treatment plans, educating patients, and coordinating with specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental consultations and oral examinations.
- Diagnose dental and oral health conditions using clinical evaluation, X-rays, and diagnostic tools.
- Prepare and explain personalized treatment plans to patients.
- Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, costs, and preventive oral care.
- Refer patients to specialists such as orthodontists, endodontists, oral surgeons, or prosthodontists when required.
- Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth treatment planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate patient records, diagnosis reports, and treatment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and clinical standards.
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment acceptance and progress.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and clinical best practices.
Qualifications
- BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a recognized institution.
- Valid Dental Council registration.
- MDS is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2-5 years of clinical experience in general dentistry.
- Freshers with robust diagnostic skills and excellent patient communication may also be considered.
Skills Required

- Ability to prepare evidence-based treatment plans.
