Senior Accountant with 5-6 years of experience, strictly in a CA firm environment.

Recent and relevant experience with a CA firm is mandatory.

Key Expertise Required:
1. GST & Indirect Taxation
- End-to-end handling of GST compliance, advisory, and litigation support
- Review and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliations, etc.)
- GST audits, assessments, notices, and departmental representations
- Advisory on GST structuring, input tax credit optimization, and compliance planning
- Keeping clients updated on changes in GST laws and implications

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Finalization of financial statements (including consolidation) as per applicable accounting standards;
- Preparation and review of MIS reports and financial analysis;
- Expert knowledge in tax audits;
- Ensuring compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge of Indian GAAP (Accounting Standards)
- Liaising with auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities

3. Team Leadership & Management
- Supervision, mentoring,



and review of work performed by team members;
- Allocation of assignments and ensuring timely completion;
- Quality control and review of deliverables before submission
- Training team members on GST and financial reporting updates
- Building a collaborative and performance-driven team workplace

4. Client Relationship Management
- Acting as a key point of contact for assigned clients
- Providing proactive advisory and business insights
- Managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Ensuring client satisfaction and retention

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Senior Accountant (CA drop outs)
- 5-6 years+ of relevant experience in a CA firm:
- Strong expertise in GST laws and compliance
- Excellent knowledge of financial statements
- Excellent Knowledge of Direct Taxes, payroll, FEMA, Corporate laws, and taxation
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, Computax, Genius etc.)
