Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical conditions, mobility limitations, and rehabilitation requirements.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation and patient goals.
- Provide physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, and rehabilitation programs.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs, posture correction, ergonomics, injury prevention, and recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and clinical standards.
- Participate in patient follow-ups and progress reviews.
- Maintain treatment equipment and ensure a safe clinical environment.
Key Skills Required
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Knowledge of musculoskeletal,
neurological, orthopedic, and sports rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities.
- Ability to create personalized rehabilitation programs.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Empathy, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) required.
- Valid Physiotherapy Council registration/license.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and physiotherapy equipment.
- Fluency in English preferred.
- Knowledge of Tamil and Hindi is an added advantage.
