Role Summary

The Planning Head will be responsible for end-to-end production planning, workflow management, ERP coordination, and audit compliance in the LED manufacturing unit. This role ensures smooth production operations, optimum resource utilization, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Control
- Develop monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on sales forecasts and orders
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials:
- Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion
- Coordinate with procurement for raw material availability

Workflow & Process Management
- Design and implement effective production workflows:
- Identify bottlenecks and improve process efficiency
- Ensure smooth coordination between Stores, Production, QA, and Dispatch:
- Implement lean manufacturing practices where applicable

3. ERP Management & Data Control
- Ensure accurate ERP data entry and real-time updates:
- Monitor production, inventory, and dispatch through ERP system
- Generate and analyze MIS reports, production reports, and variance reports:
- Train and guide team members on ERP usage

4. Audit Handling & Compliance
- Handle internal and external audits (ISO, statutory, client audits, etc.)
- Maintain proper documentation and records for production and inventory
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements:
- Coordinate with departments to close audit observations

5. Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise planning and production
